Christopher's birth story. Well I went in to the hospital on Sunday December 7Th because I was having contractions every 4 minutes they monitored me for 1 hour and sent me home Monday night I lost my mucus plug so I called Mario at work and told him to get Makaila and come home he called our baby sitter she said to have Makaila stay the night just in case something happened Tuesday morning at 5am I got up it felt like he had kicked me really hard looking back now that is when my water broke so at 5:30am I got Mario up and told him to time my contractions at 6am we headed to the hospital got there at 6:30am I ask for my epidural but they would not give it to me because they were not sure if they were going to keep me my contractions were hurting really bad at 7:30am they finally put me in a room at 8am my Doctor came to see me just as she is walking out the door I said I could feel pressure they got my Doctor back in the room and had him at 8:49am 10 minutes later I was rushed in to surgery because my placenta was stuck to my uterus I woke up and I guess I was bleeding so much they thought they were going to have to take out my uterus I had to be monitored for the next 24hours and be on antibiotics for 24 hours 4 hours later I got to go back to the room come to find out they gave me a spinal and it went up instead of down and I was having problems breathing when I woke up from surgery my lips were numb and I could not talk I think I said everything that had happened my Doctor said that I should not had anymore children because this will happen each time and get worse each time too all that and no epidural!!!

Makaila has been wanting to sleep in the crib so we have been letting her. Last night she wanted to take her baby with her this is what she did. Too cute!!

Christmas Day

We sure had a great Christmas. My Grandma came up from California and my parents came over for dinner. It was really a fun day. Hope everyone had a good day also.

Christopher was born today at 849am 8lb5oz 20 inches long. It was a really hard morning for me but it was all worth it.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to the pumpkin patch with my sister, Joe and Seth. They are doing the duck race. I could not get Makaila away from this. She loved it.
This was Makaila's first time to pick out her own pumpkin.


She found the right one for her.

Train ride

Yesterday Makaila and I went on a train ride. In Medford there is a mini train ride that is about 5 miles long. We went with some friends Jeni, Juan and Maya.

So we went to the Dr today and we are due December 20th with our 2nd child!! We are so happy. Mario just can't stop smiling and Makaila is going to be a great big sister.

Gold Panning

Today we went gold panning with my mom, brother and a friend of my moms Connie. Connie's property is on the Rogue River so we went to her house.

Makaila really got into it. It was like she had done this before.
We found about 15 flakes of gold. We where out there for about 2 hours.
